Donna Mickley, owner and senior wedding coordinator of Pura Vida Weddings, was born and raised in NY. She received her undergraduate degrees in Education, Floral Design and Travel and Tourism from east coast universities before completing her Masters degree in Reading Education from SUNY.
While in the states Donna embarked upon several careers; first as a teacher, then as a master florist, a small business owner and then an events coordinator before making Costa Rica her home.
Upon arriving to Costa Rica she decided to combine her years of experience in event planning, her expertise in floral design, her impeccable organizational skills and her love and knowledge of Costa Rica to create Pura Vida Weddings.
Each member of the Pura Vida Weddings staff brings their own unique qualities to form a great team of energetic, creative, knowledgeable professionals who love what they do.
